In her more than 25 years of Arts Education, Kelly Cannone founded Dance Artistry, Inc. in Warwick, RI and became owner of the studio Dancer Magazine called “One of the four most successful studios in America.” Her non-profit dance company the Dance Artistry Dancers, performed across the US as well as internationally in Copenhagen, Denmark, Minsk, Belarus and Moscow, Russia. A member of several organizations including Dance Masters of America and Dance Teachers Club of Connecticut, Kelly is also a black belt in American Kenpo Karate, has appeared in television commercials and theater productions as well as choreographing for the Miss R.I pageant. Her staff credits include Dance Olympus, Candance conventions and she was the jazz adjudicator for prestigious World Tap and Jazz Dance Championships to select a team to represent the US. Her outreach endeavors span organizations from St.Jude’s to RI Paralyzed Veteran’s Association, to charity events that raise money for families in need. This year Reverb and the Valor Arts Program will not only benefit from her amazing instruction but also her “Aspiring Dreamz, Goal Setting for Dancers” program.
